Psychology Student Diversity Committee

Disversity Potluck

Welcome! For over 20 years, the Psychology Student Diversity Committee has been composed of graduate students from the Clinical Psychology, CNS (Cognition, Neuroscience, and Social Psychology), and Industrial Organizational programs at the University of South Florida. Our mission is to address diversity from educational and sociocultural viewpoints. Diversity is defined in the broadest sense. It includes ethnicity, sexual orientation, professional training background and culture. Committee members have arranged a number of activities including: potluck dinners (e.g. Thai, Latin, Asian), movie nights, outings (e.g. local Thai Buddhist Temple), and the Giving Tree (department-wide effort through which families from the Florida Center for Survivors of Torture and Refugee Services are “adopted” and given items that are on their “wish lists.”). For more information, please contact Danni Ung (danielleung@mail.usf.edu).

The Student Diversity Committee is proud to host guest speakers from all different backgrounds and from all around the country.
