To Cancel an Appointment
Cancel appointments using eScheduler. eScheduler will restrict access to any student who fails to
attend or cancel their advising appointment.
If you fail to show up for a scheduled advising appointment without canceling prior to your appointment time, you will be
counted as a no show. No shows waste the time of our advisors and take valuable appointment times away from other students.
Undergraduate Studies - Psychology Advising
The Psychology Department maintains an office dedicated solely to advising undergraduates,
both those students who are majoring in Psychology as well as those who are pursuing
a minor. Our mission is to provide information and support that will enable students
to achieve their academic goals. We want to be sure our students stay on track as
they complete the requirements for their degree. To do this, we recommend students
contact an advisor at least once each semester to discuss their progress and plan
for future semesters. We can also discuss with students plans for their futures,
including careers in the discipline and post graduate education. You should also take
advantage of the many resources available to students at
The Career Center.
If you have a quick advising question that does not require a face-to-face meeting with an advisor, send an email to email@example.com. Please include your name and U-number in the email.
Undergraduate Course Permits
If you would like to request special permission to enroll in a psychology
course at the Tampa campus, please use the Course Permit Request Form. All request will be processed within 2 business days. You will be contacted
if your request for special permission was denied. This request DOES NOT register
for you. You will still be required to add the course(s) via OASIS.
Course Permit Request Form for Undergraduate courses ONLY (For graduate course permits, please visit http://psychology.usf.edu/forms/GradCrsePermit.aspx.)
Please Note: All psychology majors are required to complete
the prerequisites prior to enrolling in 4000 level psychology courses
(See Major Requirements).
